JSC “CNT” presents the updates for Navitel Navigator 5

JSC “Center of Navigation Technologies” is glad to announce the release of Navitel Navigator 5 program update for Windows Mobile devices.

What’s new in Navitel Navigator 5:

• New fast routing. Due to the modifications, the speed of routing in Navitel 5 is now only 2–3 seconds in average, regardless of the complexity of the route.
• The program speed is increased. Rendering of maps and traffic jams is faster.
• Address search algorithm is improved. Finding the object or address on a map became easier and faster.
• The POI points (“The closest”) search is improved for easier and faster search.
• Program interface and set up menu are partially updated.
• Most of previous versions errors of Navitel described by users at the official forum are fixed, program stability is increased.

Navitel Navigator 5 update is available for free for all licensed users of the program on Windows Mobile smartphones and PDAs. Download Navitel 5 on your device from the “Download” page at the official site: http://navitel.su/en/downloads/.

Navitel 5 update for Android and Symbian smartphones users, as well as iPhone/iPad will be available within the next few days. The update of Navitel 5 for car navigators will be released next month, watch the news at the forum: http://forum.navitel.su/index.php?showforum=26.

Navitel Navigator 5 is recommended to be used with the Q4-2010 maps, and prospective releases. The previously released maps (Q2-2010 and earlier) may operate slower and less stable in Navitel 5.
