NAVITEL® releases Q2 2014 map update for European countries
Q2 2014 maps of 43 European countries are now available for the users of Navitel Navigator 9.1
Q2 2014 map update is available for the following 43 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Vatican.
The updated maps contain 8 713 976 km of road graph, 4 551 770 POI, 619 385 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 199 240 of them.
Visual representation of roads, traffic jams and routes has been ameliorated; addresses have been specified and improved, as well as indication of forbidden turns. The information on subway stations has been updated; subway indication specific for each European country has been added. The map now includes 90 new ЗD models of POI!
Czech Republic
The map of Czech Republic includes 20 535 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 6 283 of them. POI database has been extended up to 67 196. Brand POI for "Sberbank" branch offices and "Albert" shops have been included in the map. Length of the road graph is 157 668 km.
The map of Czech Republic contains now 45 3D models of POI, 25 of them are new.
Prague: Žižkov Television Tower (Žižkovský vysílač), Central Park Praha, St. Vitus Cathedral (Katedrála svatého Víta), Charles Bridge (Karlův most), Old Town Bridge Tower (Staroměstská mostecká věž), National Museum (Národní muzeum), Municipal House (Obecní dům), Powder Tower (Prašná brána), Prague Castle (Pražský hrad), Old Town Hall (Staroměstská radnice), Astronomical clock (Staroměstský orloj), Týn Church (Týnský chrám), Vyšehrad, Church of St Peter and Paul at Vyšehrad (Bazilika sv. Petra a Pavla na Vyšehradě).
Český Krumlov: Český Krumlov Castle (Státní hrad a zámek Český Krumlov), Castle Tower (Zámecká věž v Českém Krumlově ).
Karlovy Vary: Grandhotel Pupp, Hotel Imperial Karlovy Vary, Thermal spa-hotel.
Benešov: Konopiště Castle (Zámek Konopiště).
Jičín: Kost Castle (Hrad Kost).
Křivoklát: Křivoklát Castle (Hrad Křivoklát).

Poland
The complete road network of the country has been updated, so the length of the road graph is now 692 279 km. The map includes information on current restrictions for automobile roads, which makes it possible to plan a route with respect to road restrictions on dimensions, weight and other parameters of a vehicle.
The map of Poland includes 68 807 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 6 882 of them. POI database has been extended up to 229 686.
64 new 3D models of POI have been included in the map, increasing the total number of 3D models up to 147.

Germany
The complete network of highways and expressways in Germany has been updated basing on the data collected by the Department of Geodesy. Roadside facilities are also now up to date. Length of the road graph is now 1 153 886 km. The map includes 64 625 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 15 489 of them. The map includes 1 628 960 POI.
Hungary
The map of Hungary includes 3 969 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 3 151 of them. POI database has been extended up to 29 986.
Brand POI for ERSTE Bank, Gránit Bank, MKB Bank, OTP Bank, Raiffeisen BANK, UniCredit Bank, SBERBANK, WESTERN UNION bank branch offices, McDonald's, BURGER KING, KFC, Starbucks, Subway restaurants, Eni, Shell, Avia, OMV, LUKOIL fuel stations, SPAR, TESCO, METRO, PENNY MARKET, ALDI, CBA, BAUHAUS, bauMax, IKEA, Kika, OBI, Praktiker, JYSK, EURONICS, Media Markt, Auchan, LIDL, Decathlon supermarkets have been added to the map.
Length of the road graph is now 101 248 km.
Slovakia
The map of Slovakia includes 4 174 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 484 of them. The POI database includes 1 941 POI. Length of the road graph is now 48 554 km.
Brand POI for SBERBANK, ČSOB, OTP, Poštová banka, Prima banka, Slovenská sporiteľňa, Tatra banka, VÚB Banka, Raiffeisen BANK, Prvá stavebná sporiteľňa bank branch offices, McDonald's, SUBWAY, KFC restaurants, Slovnaft, OMV, Shell, Eni, Jurki, LUKOIL fuel stations, LIDL, BILLA, Carrefour, METRO, COOP, TESCO, Kaufland, CBA, Baumax, IKEA, Merkury Market, HORNBACH, Mountfield, ELECTRO WORLD, NAY supermarkets have been added to the map.
The map of each country includes residential and industrial objects and sites of cities, towns and settlements allowing address search, highly detailed road network including streets and roads and taking into account road directions, as well as interchanges, roundabouts and other important information.
