NAVITEL® releases Q3 2014 map update for Turkey and countries of South Caucasus and Central Asia

The updated Q3 2014 maps of Turkey and countries of South Caucasus and Central Asia are available to the users of Navitel Navigator.

The updated Q3 2014 maps are available for the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.

The updated maps contain 875 945 km of road graph, 1 238 042 POI, 58 629 settlements, allowing address search and providing road network for 28 932 of them. Visual representation of roads, traffic jams and routes has been ameliorated; addresses have been specified, as well as indication of forbidden turns improved.

Turkey

The map of Turkey includes 37 151 settlements, allowing address search and providing road network for 28 834 of them. The POI database includes 1 200 857 POI. Length of the road graph is 653 171 km.

Azerbaijan

The map includes 4 313 settlements, including 50 settlements with address search and road network. The map contains 25,973 POI. Length of the road graph is 29,788 km. The new cities in address search: Guba, Gusar, Dashkasan, Lankaran, Masalli, Khachmaz, Khudat, Shamkir.

Armenia

Length of the road graph is 22 980 km. Map of Armenia includes 985 settlements, including 51 settlements with address search and road network. The map contains 4 266 POI.

The new 49 cities in address search: Abovyan, Agarak, Atarbekyan, Alaverdi, Akhtala, Akner, Ayrum, Ashtarak, Aparan, Ararat, Artik, Armavir, Artashat, Byurehavan, Gagarin, Ghawar, Gyumri, Goris, Dilijan, Eghegnadzor, Ehvard, Yerevan, Talin, Tumanyan, Tsaghkadzor, Kapan, Hrazdan Chambarak, Masis, Maralik, Martuni, Makravan, Mehri, Noyemberian, Shamluh, Charentsavan, Jermuk, Jrarat tahamas, Sanain, Sevan, Sisian, Spitak, Stepanavan, Vagarshapat Wijk, Vanadzor, Vardenis, Vedi, Kajaran.

Georgia

Map of Georgia contains 4 349 settlements, including 47 settlements with address search and road network. The map contains 1580 POI. Length of the road graph is 83 351 km. The road network of Tbilisi was actualized, the bypass road Kobuleti has been added to the map.

The map of each country includes residential and industrial objects and sites of cities, towns and settlements allowing address search, highly detailed road network including streets and roads and taking into account road directions, as well as interchanges, roundabouts and other important information.
