NAVITEL® releases map update for Europe Q1 2015

Q1 2015 maps of 43 European countries are now available for the users of Navitel Navigator.

Q1 2015 map update is available for the following 43 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Vatican.

The updated maps contain 8 840 064 km of road graph, 4 611 363 POI, and 619 602 settlements, 198 885 of which are provided with the detailed road network and support address search.

Poland

The map of Poland includes 69 023 settlements, 6 887 of which are provided with the road network and support address search. The POI database has been updated and extended as well, including now the total of 238 067 POI. Length of the road graph is 645 421 km.

The following settlements have their address and road network data updated: Warsaw, Krakow, Lublin, Michałowice, Nisko, Ożarów Mazowiecki, Opole Lubelskie, Puławy, Rawa Mazowiecka, Skierniewice, Sochaczew, Tarnobrzeg, and 36 other settlements in Poland.

The brand POI of the following chain stores have been added to the map: Biedronka, InterMarche, E.Leclerc, LeroyMerlin, NOMI, Pepco, Praktiker, REAL, ROSSMANN, RTVEuroAGD, Saturn, ZOO KARINA; fuel station chains: LOTOS, ORLEN, STATOIL, BLISKA.

The new operational sections of the S8 expressway have been added to the map.

Finland

The map of Finland includes 13 816 settlements, 9 290 of which are provided with the road network and support address search. The POI database has been updated and extended as well, including now the total of 12 680 POI. Length of the road graph is 478 412 km.

For the first time the cities of Tampere and Mariehamn were added to the map together with the address search function and the road network.

The following settlements have their POI and road network data updated: Jomala, Kotka, Kotkansaari,Lankila, Mariehamn, Mussalo, and Hovinsaari.

The updated map includes the new bypass road 7 between the settlements of Loviisa and Hamina.

Sweden

The map of Sweden includes 27 063 settlements, 3 397 of which are provided with the road network and support address search. The POI database includes 13 115 points. Length of the road graph is 396 612 km.

The newly built highways have been added to the map:

• Road E45 from Vänersborg to Göteborg, as well as the area nearby the Lilla Edet settlement;

• Road E6 from Göteborg to Skepplanda;

• The area on Highway 27 nearby the city of Gislaved.

The road network data including the multilevel interchanges has been updated in the map of Stockholm.

New multi-level road junction has been added to the map of Göteborg.

Highways E6, E45, E4, E20, and E18 have their multilevel interchanges data updated.

Moldova

The map of Moldova includes 1 650 settlements, 146 of which are provided with the road network and support address search. The POI database includes the total of 24 914 POI. Length of the road graph is 43 507 km.

The following settlements have their road network data updated: Bădiceni, Bezeni, Vădeni, Dubna, Egorovca, Cosăuţi, Parcani, Racovăţ, Redi-Cereşnovăţ, Rubleniţa, Soroca, Trifăneşti, Frumuşica, Hristici, and 19 other settlements in Moldova.

Coupled with the address search in residential and industrial areas of settlements, the map of each country includes the highly detailed road network with streets and roads, and with due account to road directions, as well as interchanges, roundabouts, and other important road information.
