NAVITEL® releases Q3 2015 map update for countries of Middle East, South Caucasus, and Asia
Q3 2015 maps of the 11 countries of Middle East, South Caucasus, and Asia are now available to the users of Navitel Navigator.
The Q3 2015 map update is available for the following 11 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
The updated maps contain 3 757 331 km of road graph, 6 855 284 POIs, and 770 347 settlements, 36 580 of which are provided with the detailed street network and support address search.
Azerbaijan
The map of Azerbaijan includes 4 313 settlements, 54 of which are provided with the street network and support address search. The map contains 27 483 POI. Length of the road graph is 31 236 km.
Information about tallness of high-rise buildings has been added in the following cities: Agdash, Aghjabadi, Aghstafa, Agsu, Astara, Barda, Belokany, Beylagan, Bilasuvar, Gabala, Ganja, Goychay, Hajiqabul, Ismayilly, Jalilabad, Khyrdalan, Lankaran, Mingachevir, Qakh, Qazax, Quba, Qusar, Shirvan, Siazan’, Sumgayit, Yevlakh, Zaqatala.
Georgia
The map of Georgia includes 4 349 settlements, 47 of which are provided with the street network and support address search. The map contains 1 765 POI. Length of the road graph is 81 534 km.
The following settlements have their address and street network data fully updated: Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Tbilisi, Telavi, and Zestaponi.
Vietnam
The map of Vietnam includes 87 432 settlements, 762 of which are provided with the street network and support address search. The map contains 153 476 POI. Length of the road graph is 337 323 km.
The POI database of Vietnam has been updated and extented. Along with 1654 new roadside infrastructure objects, the branded POIs of 37 store chains have been added to the map.
As such, the FOOD category of POIs includes now the food chains: Cộng Cà Phê, Highlands Coffee, KFC, Lotteria, Starbucks Coffee, Trung Nguyên.
The BANK category includes branded POIs of the following banks: Agribank, BIDV, MBBank, Techcombank, Vietcombank, Vietinbank.
The PETROL category includes POIs of the following filling station chains: Cây xăng Caltex, Cây xăng Comeco, Cây xăng HFC, Cây xăng Quân Đội, Cây xăng PETEC, Cây xăng PETIMEX, Cây xăng Petrolimex, Cây xăng PVOIL, Cây xăng Sông Hồng, Cây xăng Saigonpetro, Cây xăng SFC, Cây xăng Total.
The SHOP category of POIs now contains the branded POIs of a number of chain stores, namely: Điện máy Chợ Lớn, Điện máy HC, Điện máy Mediamart, Điện máy Pico, FPTShop, Nguyễn Kim, Nhật Cường Mobile, Siêu thị Big C, Siêu thị Co.opmart, Siêu thị Fivimart, Siêu thị Maximark, Siêu thị Metro, Viettel Store.
The maps of all countries include address search in residential and industrial areas of settlements coupled with the highly detailed street network with streets, roads, and with due account to road directions, interchanges, roundabouts, and other important road information.
