Navitel 5.0.1.846 for Android: 30 DAYS FOR FREE, NEW SERVICE OF POI, ANDROID 3 support and much more!

We are glad to announce the release of updated Navitel Navigator 5.0.1.846 for Android users. New version of the program includes support of Android 3 devices and some new interactive functions to make Navitel navigation more convenient and useful.

What’s new in Navitel 5.0.1.846 for Android:

  • ANDROID 3 SUPPORT. Now the navigation program can be used also at Android 3 tablets. Before purchase install and test program in a trial mode on your device.
  • NEW TRIAL MODE. Allows to test Navitel Navigator during 30 days without functional and map restrictions before purchase of license. All official Navitel maps are available for 30-day trial mode. To download trial version of maps go to section "Downloads“at http://navitel.su/.
  • DYNAMIC POI. New Navitel Navigator service allows to find out additional updated information about different POI. Now all users can get the actual information about gas prices at the petrol stations, showtimes at movies and much more. To use the service the device must be connected to the internet.

  • NEW POI FILTER allows to set any types of POI or group of POI, displaying on the map with maximum comfort and flexibility. Now it is possible to set POI on the map easy and quickly!

  • NEW “NEAREST” POI SEARCH was also updated. The interface of the service makes search of different types of POI more convenient and easy.
  • Autorouting service is improved,including autorouting while using Navitel.Traffic service.
  • Voice guidance was improved. Now stammering is impossible even on the devices with a low performance.
  • Navitel.Navigator program became 50% faster.
  • The mistakes of the previous version are corrected, also considering opinions of our users on the official forum Navitel.

At the release time, Dynamic POI service displays interactive information for “Movie theaters” and “Gas stations” groups in Russia. In the nearest future number of groups with dynamically updated POI and list of cities and countries, where the service works, will be much expanded. Stay tuned.

Note, that for correct new POI filter functioning, after updating Navitel version 5.0.1.846, the POI filter settings must be reset after update. Also please note, that if you use 30-day trial mode, your device should be connected to the internet every time you start the program for updates at the Navitel Navigator server (1-2kb of traffic).
