NAVITEL® launches NAVITEL E500 MAGNETIC – a car GPS with a revolutionary magnetic holder

NAVITEL® announces the launch of a new car navigator NAVITEL E500 MAGNETIC. The device has a 5-inch touch screen with wide viewing angles. One of its main advantages is a magnetic holder that allows to install and remove the navigator with ease. The maps of 43 European countries, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine are pre-installed and ready-to-use.


Technical specifications

NAVITEL E500 MAGNETIC is equipped with CPU MStar with a frequency of 800 MHz. Based on a reliable operating system Windows CE, the device has a bright 5-inch touch screen with a resolution of 800х480. The screen features wide viewing angles and provides clear image even in the bright sunlight. The inner memory is 8 GB. There is a slot for microSD cards up to 32 GB for storing additional navigation maps and media files. The capacity of the built-in battery is 1200 mAh.


Magnetic holder

It takes just a few seconds to install NAVITEL E500 MAGNETIC in a car thanks to the revolutionary magnetic holder. The package contains an ergonomic mounting bracket that attaches firmly to the windscreen. On the bracket, there is a USB port for the car charger and a magnetic snap for fast installation of the navigator. There is no need to align the device as the strong magnet instantly fixes and secures it in the right position as you bring the navigator close to the bracket. Removing NAVITEL E500 MAGNETIC at the end of the trip is also an easy task. The charger is connected directly to the mounting bracket leaving the device cord-free.

NAVITEL E500 MAGNETIC automatically starts and launches the navigation software after it has been connected to the magnetic holder. The device turns off 15 seconds after its removal from the mounting bracket. The strong magnet holds the device securely while driving.


Offline maps of 47 countries

NAVITEL E500 MAGNETIC is an ultimate solution for car navigation. The package of preinstalled maps includes 43 European countries, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine. The maps contain the latest data on the road network and up-to-date SPEEDCAM database as well as a large number of POI. Navitel Navigator software is responsible for route building and voice prompts.

Additional maps can be purchased and installed with the help of Navitel Navigator Update Center. The tool will also help to update the existing maps and software.
