NAVITEL® launches NAVITEL RE900 FULL HD – the ultimate 2-in-1 solution for drivers
NAVITEL® announces the launch of a brand new 2-in-1 revolutionary device NAVITEL RE900 FULL HD. The signature sign of the device is that it combines the features of a Full HD DVR and a GPS navigator with fully-fledged offline maps.
Technical specifications
NAVITEL RE900 FULL HD is equipped with CPU Cortex-A7 Quad Core with a frequency of 1300 MHz. Based on a reliable operating system Android™, the device has a bright colour 5-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 1280х720. The internal memory of the device is 16 GB, which is perfect for downloading your favourite music and movies. There is also a slot for SD/SDHC cards up to 64 GB for storing additional navigation maps and media files. The screen provides clear image both in the bright sunlight and at night. The camera features a high-quality 5-layer glass lens for detailed footage. NAVITEL RE900 is equipped with 3G, Wi-Fi, FM-transmitter and Bluetooth 4.0 technologies for comfortable trips. To stay in touch when out of Wi-Fi reach the user can easily insert a SIM card into the device.
Full HD DVR
NAVITEL RE900 FULL HD is equipped with a modern OmniVision camera featuring a 5-layer glass with a wide viewing angle of 140°, which allows to record detailed videos of excellent quality. The frame rate 30 fps ensures clear footage both at night and during the day. The sensitive microphone in NAVITEL RE900 enables high-quality audio recording.
The device also has many familiar solutions, known from NAVITEL®'s DVR devices. Built-in G-sensor is crucial for retaining critical footage made during road accidents. It is activated when the vehicle is accelerating at a high speed, the brakes are engaged non routinely, or unusual activity is detected close to the car.
GPS navigation
NAVITEL RE900 FULL HD is perfect for effective navigation both locally and globally. For easy offline navigation the device has pre-installed maps of 
43 European countries, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. All the maps are subject to online lifetime free updates. Additional maps can be purchased via the program's main menu: Menu > My Navitel > Buy maps. The program will also help to update the existing maps and software if needed.
The maps include the latest information on the road network and up-to-date SPEEDCAM database as well as a large number of POI and 3D objects. Navitel Navigator software helps the user to build the best routes and provides voice prompts. Lane assistant helps to receive important information on how to perform the correct maneuver at the crossroads. Real-time traffic is taken into account when calculating route time and can be easily seen on the screen in the navigation mode.
