Introducing the new NAVITEL RS985 and RS990 with SONY sensors, ADAS & GPS capabilities
NAVITEL has unveiled two new dashcams NAVITEL RS985 GPS and NAVITEL RS990 GPS, featuring cutting-edge technology designed to enhance driving safety and convenience. We are happy to announce that these models are already available for purchase at our online store.
Both models deliver exceptional video quality in outstanding 4K resolution, thanks to SONY IMX415 (for RS985) and IMX678 (for RS990) sensors that ensure clear footage even in low-light conditions. Their front camera modules offer a wide 160-degree field of view, while the included rear camera captures Full HD footage with a 136-degree field of view, covering all critical angles. A powerful yet efficient NT98529 CPU enables these devices to process simultaneous dual-channel video recording while also generating less heat.
The NAVITEL RS985 & RS990 are equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) that includes lane departure warnings, alerts for vehicles, pedestrians, and other obstacles ahead, as well as accident prevention assistance. In addition, the system will notify the driver when the car flow departs from crossroads or traffic lights. Alerts are simultaneously sounded by a speaker and displayed on a large 3” IPS screen that shows all the necessary information.
Drivers will also benefit from an integrated GPS informer and a digital speedometer, with former providing alerts about speed cameras, pedestrian crossings, and other road objects based on a built-in updatable database and vehicle’s geolocation.
These devices can be controlled using physical buttons or a dedicated NAVITEL DVR Center app, enabling users to share videos, download files directly to their phone, and easily configure settings. The DVR Center is available for Android & iOS devices and can be obtained from their respectable digital distribution services.
NAVITEL RS985 and RS990 feature a G-sensor that automatically saves videos of incidents, such as collisions or sudden maneuvers, into a dedicated folder on the memory card. The devices support memory cards of up to 512 GB, ensuring ample storage for important footage.
