Firmware update and new capabilities of DVRs with GPS informer

Dear friends, we are pleased to inform you that a software update for GPS^* dashcams is now available on NAVITEL^® official page.

Due to the new firmware version, working with photos and video files has become even easier. You will no longer need additional devices like a memory card reader — just connect the recorder to the computer using the USB cable, select the “Mass Storage” mode and work with the files directly^*.

The new firmware version includes the most current^** data on all types of monitoring cameras, potentially dangerous places, service departments, etc. Thanks to the work of NAVITEL^® specialists who regularly replenish the database of road warnings, our users can be sure that they will always have the latest information.

For owners of dashcams with a Wi-Fi module, a firmware update is also available wirelessly via the Navitel DVR Center application. To do this, download the Navitel DVR Center application, launch it, connect the dashcam to the smartphone via Wi-Fi, and click “Update”.

Navitel DVR Player program for PC^*** provides users advanced functions for working with video files from the dashcam. Using the program, you can view videos shot on your DVR on a computer screen, export tracks, cut out recording fragments, and much more.

^** The database is up to date as of April 29, 2020. For the correct operation of dashcams with GPS-informer, we recommend updating the software of your device regularly.
