NAVITEL® releases the navigational map of Iceland, updated to Q1 2014.

The map covers 100% of the country's territory and contains 26,149 km of road network, 109 larger and smaller towns and other settlements, 105 including the road network.

Detailed information about roads and highways allows for planning a circular route anywhere within the country.

The map of Iceland contains 19,206 points of interest (POI), including tourist attractions across the entire country. On the map, you will find natural beauties, which include glaciers, waterfalls, fjords, mountains, geysers, such as the glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón, the stratovolcano Hekla, the valley Thorsmork, the archipelago and municipality of Westman Islands, the waterfall Gullfoss, the island and municipality of Grimsey, and the mountainous area of Landmannalaugar in southeastern Iceland, as well as deep canyons, lakes, and snow-covered slopes.

Special attention is paid to various dining establishments and hotels of different classes, recreational areas, and shopping. The map includes residential and industrial infrastructure, large and small towns and other settlements, a detailed road network with roads and streets, including traffic directions, intersections, roundabouts, and other important information.

The navigational map of Iceland is included in the "Nordic" map package (Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden), and the navigational map of Iceland is available for free to users who have already purchased the "Nordic" map package!

The license key for the "Nordic" product can be purchased in the Buy section on the NAVITEL® website (www.navitel.cz).

Users of the Navitel Navigator application on Android devices can purchase the license key on Google Play.
