The program cannot be installed
- Check that your computer meets the system requirements for installing the Navitel Navigator Update Center program.
- Make sure there is enough space to install the program. At least 2.5 GB of free disk space and 1 GB of RAM are required.
- Some firewalls and antivirus tools may prevent the program from being downloaded and installed. Adjust the settings to allow the program to be downloaded and installed.
If the program does not recognize your device:
- Make sure your navigation device uses WINDOWS CE or LINUX. The Navitel Navigator program on Android devices is updated via Google Play.
- Make sure the device is recognized by the computer and that you can open the folders to view the content.
- Make sure the program starts on the navigation device and displays a map. If the program does not start or an unregistered program starts, follow the installation instructions.
The computer does not recognize the navigation device
- Check that the navigation device is charged. If a battery icon appears on the screen after connecting the device, the device is not fully charged and may not be recognized.
- Use the USB cable supplied with the navigation device. Check that the USB cable is connected correctly.
- If the device is still not recognized, try using a different USB port.
The update process was interrupted or otherwise stopped
- Check your internet connection. The Navitel Navigator Update Center requires a stable internet connection to update software and maps.
- Make sure there is enough free disk space.
- Some firewalls and antivirus tools may prevent internet access. Adjust the settings to allow the Navitel Navigator Update Center program free internet access.
The computer was locked during the update
- Locking your computer will not interrupt the installation of updates. If the installation stops, check your internet connection.
Downloading takes too long
- The time required to download updates depends on the size of the updated files and the speed of the internet connection. If the download is too slow, check your internet connection.
- Some maps are large; downloading these maps will take longer.
I purchased a map using the Navitel Navigator Update Center program. When and how do I get a license key?
If you purchased a map using the Navitel Navigator Update Center program, you will not receive an email with a license key. The license key is activated automatically and is valid for the navigation device connected to the computer at the time of purchase.
To view the purchased maps available for download, reconnect the same navigation device to the computer and start the program. Orders are usually processed within 30 minutes.
