Thank you for purchasing a NAVITEL® product. This warranty card contains all the information and instructions necessary for the proper exercise of the buyer's (consumer's) rights arising from the seller's legal liability for defects in purchased NAVITEL® products. Customer satisfaction is our primary goal. We carry out quality control and technical parameter checks of our products in accordance with relevant EU standards, leading to the satisfaction of our customers. The following fields must be filled in on the warranty card: serial number, date of receipt of the product, name and address of the seller, signature of the seller. By signing, the customer confirms that they have duly familiarized themselves with the warranty conditions, which form an integral part of this warranty card.

This warranty card confirms the legal liability of NAVITEL s.r.o., with its registered office at Na Strži 1702/65, Krč, 140 00 Prague 4, Identification Number: 246 59 991, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under file no. C 164118 (hereinafter referred to as "NAVITEL"), as the manufacturer of NAVITEL® brand products, for defects in these products towards the buyer (consumer) in accordance with applicable legal regulations. NAVITEL reserves the right to refuse to fulfill obligations under this warranty card in the event of non-compliance with the conditions stated in the general warranty terms, which form an integral part of this warranty card.
WARNING! The battery used in NAVITEL® products should not be exposed to temperatures below zero degrees Celsius. It is strictly forbidden to expose such a battery to temperatures below -5° Celsius; in such a case, NAVITEL is entitled to reject the claim.
I hereby confirm that I have received a fully functional device with a user manual in Czech and agree to the general warranty terms attached to this warranty card. The purchased product was tried and tested in my presence and has no visible damage. I have read and understood all information regarding the product specification, its features and rules of use.

General Warranty Terms of NAVITEL
Warranty repairs may only be carried out by an authorized NAVITEL service center. The warranty applies only to products manufactured by NAVITEL that are properly marked with a legible serial number assigned to them by NAVITEL.
The warranty does not cover situations described below:
- - normal wear and tear of the product;
- - defects caused by natural disaster or other external circumstances (e.g., power grid failure or residential electrical installation) or unsuitable operating conditions compared to the conditions stated in the user manual supplied with the product;
- - modification of the product or software in a manner other than described in the user manual supplied with the product;
- - mechanical damage to the product or its part (e.g., fall, impact or deformation), incorrect operation of the product, unauthorized intervention by a third party, unprofessional installation of the product, use of the product contrary to its intended purpose, improper storage;
- - alteration or absence of the product's serial number;
- - use of the product for industrial, commercial or other purposes not listed in the product's user manual;
- - contact of the product with spilled liquids or their concentrated vapors, ingress of foreign substances into the product, thermal, chemical or other unprofessional damage to the product;
- - non-observance of the operating temperatures stated in the product's user manual;
- - use of accessories other than those approved or supported by NAVITEL;
- - normal reduction in battery capacity resulting from the use of the product of which the battery is a part.
NAVITEL is under no circumstances responsible for loss, direct or indirect damage to property, damage caused to people or animals, which were caused by improper use of the product contrary to the user manual or arose as a result of an accident or intentional act of the user.
NAVITEL® devices are complex technical devices controlled by software. NAVITEL is responsible for ensuring that its software, in its essential aspects, corresponds to the functional characteristics described in the user manual supplied with the device. NAVITEL does not guarantee that this software will be compatible with other products or software from other suppliers. NAVITEL is not obliged to provide any updates to this software after the device is purchased.
The warranty period for NAVITEL® products is 24 months from the date of receipt of the given product by the buyer; this warranty period applies exclusively to defects existing at the time of receipt of the product which manifest themselves only during the warranty period. The warranty period does not include the period from the legitimate claim of the product until the time when the buyer is obliged to take over the product after the warranty repair is completed and will thus be able to use the product again.
NAVITEL provides a quality warranty for its products for a period of 12 months from the date of receipt of the given product by the buyer, without prejudice to the buyer's rights to free remedy of defects arising from the law.
The customer is entitled to make a claim for a NAVITEL® product only at an authorized NAVITEL service center at Na Strži 1702/65, Krč, 140 00 Prague 4, either in person or by mail with prepaid postage. If the customer makes a claim by mail, they must submit a written notification of product defects to NAVITEL together with the complete claimed product, which must include information about the buyer, the purchase of the product, a properly and completely identified claimed product, a precise and complete description of the defects of the claimed product, and the proposed method of handling the claim; this warranty card, or proof of purchase of the product, must also be attached to the notification. If the customer does not propose a method of handling the claim, it is assumed that they request a repair of the product.
The claims procedure can be initiated if the customer submits the complete claimed product and proves the purchase of the claimed product from NAVITEL or its distributor, preferably with this warranty card, or a purchase document. It is essential to make a claim without undue delay after the defect appears. Any delay in the continued use of the claimed product may cause the defect to worsen, devalue the product, and may be a reason for rejecting the claim.
If a defect appeared within one year of receipt of the product, it is presumed that the product suffered from the defect already upon receipt, except in cases where the specific nature of the product or defect excludes this legal presumption. In the case of defects that appear after the first year from the receipt of the product, the customer is obliged to prove, in addition to the existence of the defect, that the relevant defect existed already at the time of receipt of the product.
NAVITEL warns that the warranty period and lifespan are different concepts. Lifespan is determined by the usual lifespan of products of a comparable type that a consumer can reasonably expect and can be fundamentally affected by the method of use, and therefore may not always be the same as the warranty period. With intensive use, beyond normal and reasonable use, the lifespan may be shorter than the provided warranty.
Unless it is unreasonable given the nature of the defect, the customer has the right, in the event of a defect, to also receive a new item without defects; if this is not possible, they may withdraw from the purchase agreement. However, if it is unreasonable given the nature of the defect, especially if the defect can be remedied without undue delay, the customer has the right to free removal of the defect. The customer also has the right to receive a new item without defects or to withdraw from the purchase agreement in the case of a remediable defect, if they cannot properly use the item due to repeated occurrence of the defect after repair (third occurrence of the same defect after two previous repairs) or due to a greater number of defects (simultaneously three or more remediable defects). If the customer does not withdraw from the purchase agreement, does not exercise the right to receive a new item without defects or to repair the item, they may demand a reasonable discount from the purchase price.
If the buyer is an entrepreneur and the purchase of a NAVITEL® product related to their business activity, this warranty card shall not apply to such a purchase.
Other rights of the buyer related to the purchase of a NAVITEL® product are not affected by these general warranty terms.
These general warranty terms of NAVITEL are valid from March 1, 2023.
