Q2 2015 maps for 43 European countries are now available for Navitel Navigator users.
The Q2 2015 map update is available for the following 43 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City, Isle of Man.
The updated maps include 8,840,064 km of road network, 4,630,265 points of interest (POIs), and 623,155 settlements with detailed street networks and address search for 199,361 of them.
Poland
The map of Poland contains 72,577 settlements with a street network and address search support for 6,899 of them. The database of points of interest (POIs) has been updated and now contains a total of 239,370 points. The total length of the road network is 699,551 km.
Address and street networks have been updated for the following settlements: Gdynia, Inowrocław, Kamień, Pomorski, Kutno, Łowicz, Płock, Pułtusk, Radomsko, Warsaw, Włocławek, and 55 other settlements in Poland.
The map of Poland now also provides 20 new 3D models, increasing the total number of 3D objects on the map of Poland to 168:
Białystok: Branicki Palace.
Bielsko-Biała: Sfera Gallery, Sułkowski Castle, Historical Museum.
Bydgoszcz: Lloyd Palace, Opera Nova, BRE Bank Headquarters, Multikino cinema.
Rzeszów: Rzeszów Castle.
Krasiczyn: Krasiczyn Castle.
Malbork: Viljandi Castle.
Przemyśl: Casimir Castle, National Museum.
Several other 3D architectural objects have been added to the map.
Finland
The map of Finland contains 13,816 settlements with a detailed street network and address search support for 9,480 of them. The database of points of interest (POIs) has been updated to a total of 12,994 points. The length of the road network totals 478,503 km.
For the first time, the map provides detailed information down to the building number level for the following locations: Alahovi, Veikkola, Vilniemi, Ivalo, Karhuvuori, Kokkola, Kotisaari, Kotka, Lankila, Metsola, Rasi, Seppala, Sutela, Tormannen, Halla, Hirssaari, Husula and 74 other settlements. The map of Finland now contains over 50,000 unique addresses.
Lane information has been added to the map for the Keha-1 and Keha-3 intersections in Helsinki, as well as for roads in the city center.
The Turunvayla route data between Helsinki and Turku has also been updated. Changes have also been made to ferry lines between Helsinki and other settlements. New points of interest have been added to the map for the following settlements: Ivalo, Kokkola, Kotka.
Czech Republic
The map of the Czech Republic contains 20,535 settlements with a street network and address search support for 6,252 of them. The database of points of interest (POIs) has been updated and expanded to 84,711 points. The total length of the road network is 157,759 km.
New streets and roads have been added to the map, and the street network and address data have been completely updated. Changes have also been made to navigation.
A total of 69 brands have been added to branded points of interest (POIs): A3 Sport, Alexandria, Alpine Pro, Apple PR, Baťa, Bel & Blanc, Blažek, Bushman, C&A, CineStar, Cinema City, Deichmann, DHL, Europcar, Fokus Optik, Fruitisimo, H&M, Marks & Spencer, McCafé, NewYorker, Nord Blanc, OKAY, Pet Center, Potrefená Husa, ŠKODA, Vodafone, T-Mobile, COOP and many others.
Maps of all countries include address search in residential and industrial areas of settlements together with a detailed road network down to street level, including traffic structures and information such as mandatory driving directions, intersections, roundabouts, and other important traffic information.
