Updated Q3 2014 maps for 43 European countries are now available for Navitel Navigator users.
Updated Q3 2014 maps are now available for the following 43 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City State.
Updated maps (as of November 1, 2014) include 8,833,754 km of roads, 4,603,930 POIs, 619,601 settlements with address search, and provide street networks for 198,869 of them.
Czech Republic
The map of the Czech Republic contains 20,535 settlements with address search and provides a street network for 6,283 of them. The database of Points of Interest (POI) has been expanded to 67,775. A.T.U. car services and LPG filling stations have been added to the POIs on the map. The total length of the road network is 157,676 km.
Poland
The total road network has been updated, so the length of the road network is now 693,202 km. The map of Poland contains 69,023 settlements with address search and provides a street network for 6,887 of them. The database of Points of Interest (POI) has been expanded to 236,236.
Two new 3D POI models have been included in the map, increasing the total number of 3D models to 149:
Wałbrzych: Książ Castle;
Łańcut: Łańcut Castle.
Germany
Based on data from the geodesy department, the complete network of highways and expressways in Germany has been updated. Road facilities are now also up to date. The length of the road network is now 1,153,886 km. The map includes 64,625 settlements with address search and provides a street network for 15,489 of them. The map contains 1,634,550 POIs.
Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia
Information on street networks and intersections in Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn and other major administrative centers has been significantly updated. Adjustments were made to the maps of Lithuanian cities Alytus, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Marijampolė, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, Tauragė, Telšiai, Utena and Latvian cities Daugavpils, Jekabpils, Jelgava, Jurmala, Liepaja, Rezekne, Valmiera, Ventspils.
Maps of all countries include residential and industrial infrastructure of cities and towns with address search, a detailed network of road routes, intersections, roundabouts and other important information.
