NAVITEL® Releases Navigation Map of the Philippines

NAVITEL® releases the Q2 2014 map of the Philippines.

The map covers 100% of the country's territory and contains 68,818 km of roads. The map includes 1,453 settlements, with detailed road networks provided for 301 of them. Highways and main roads are accurately rendered, allowing users to plan routes for touring any point on any island in the country.

The map contains 24,163 points of interest, including numerous tourist attractions that can certainly be included in any trip to the island; among them are the National Museum of the Philippines, the Chocolate Hills of Bohol Island, or the Banaue Rice Terraces, as well as major natural attractions such as the world's smallest volcano (Taal Volcano), Mayon Volcano, and Mount Apo Volcano, located on the islands of Luzon and Mindanao.

Special attention has been paid to places for refreshments, hotels and accommodations of various levels, entertainment venues, and shops. The map includes residential and industrial buildings in cities, towns, and settlements, a detailed road network including streets and roads with consideration for traffic direction, as well as intersections, roundabouts, and other important information.

Important! Please note that the Q2 2014 map of the Philippines is only compatible with Navitel Navigator version 9.1.0.0 and higher.
