Updated Q1 2015 maps for the Middle East, South Caucasus, and Central Asia are now available for Navitel Navigator users.
The updated Q1 2015 maps include a total of 8 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
The updated maps contain 1,022,213 km of road network, 1,315,281 points of interest (POIs), and 72,862 settlements, with street networks and address search support available for 29,086 of them.
The visual representation of roads, traffic situations, and streets has been improved. The address database has been adjusted, as have information on prohibited maneuvers.
Azerbaijan
The map includes 4,313 settlements, with street networks and address search support available for 54 of them. For address search functionality, 143,985 unique addresses are available. The map contains 27,447 points of interest (POIs). The length of the road network is 31,228 km.
The map of Azerbaijan also provides address search and street networks for the following settlements: Agdzhabedi, Aghstafa, Astara, Belokany, Barda, Gabala, Gazakh, Ismayilly, Kurdamir, Mingachevir, Sabirabad, Siazan, Shabran, Shamakhi, Shirvan, Khyrdalan.
The address database for Baku has been updated.
Turkey
The map of Turkey includes 37,151 settlements and provides street networks and address search support for 28,834 of them. The points of interest (POI) database contains 1,200,859 points. The length of the road network is 653,171 km.
Iran
The map of Iran includes 14,233 settlements and provides street networks and address search support for 95 of them. The points of interest (POI) database contains 74,951 points. The length of the road network is 143,203 km.
Along with address search in residential and industrial areas of settlements, the map of each country includes a detailed road network down to street level, including traffic structures and information such as mandatory directions, intersections, roundabouts, and more.
