Clients report that NAVITEL R300 GPS 2023 models are not working correctly after the last update. Therefore, we have released a fix that you can download directly from our website.
Installing new firmware is easy. First, however, you must ensure that the DVR you are using was manufactured in 2023. To do this, check the serial number on your dashcam. After R300G at the beginning, "2023" must follow. Dashcams released in 2023 must be updated according to the following manual. Software for devices manufactured in 2022 and earlier is installed in the usual way.
- Follow the link;
- In the menu, select R300 GPS, enter the serial number of your device, and click "show updates";
- Download the proposed zip archive (NAVITEL R300 GPS firmware version 1.7.596 from 27.10.23);
- Format the microSD card directly from your DVR;
- Copy the files from the downloaded zip archive to your microSD directory (SD_CarDV.bin & SD_CarDV_2.bin) and insert the card back into the dashcam;
- Turn on the device and wait for it to update;
- To perform another firmware update, turn the device off and then on again.
Done. Your NAVITEL R300 GPS is fixed and ready to operate.
