NAVITEL® has released a new version of Navitel Navigator 11 for Android-powered devices.
Thanks to our developers, we have not only taken care of the interface design but also of a massive upgrade of features. Now the application is even more convenient, user-friendly, and modern. At the same time, the application has retained its main features – excellent offline navigation, relevant online services, and a database of speed cameras and traffic lights, which is regularly updated.
Ultramodern design
Thanks to the updated design, the program is more convenient. We checked all user requirements, spent hundreds of hours testing the application, and fixed all shortcomings, which makes Navitel Navigator 11 an ideal companion.
For maximum convenience, our users' most frequently used settings have been moved to the main menu. Now users can control sound, update and display current road data, instantly check saved journeys and routes. The "Exit" button has been moved to its original location, now you will find it at the very end of the menu. You can also easily exit the application by simply double-pressing the Back button. The Maps section has been moved to the main menu and contains everything related to navigation maps: a list of downloaded maps and information about updates and purchases.
In the new version of the application, the top row starts when the Navitel Navigator 11 window is active. At the top of the application, sound settings, service notifications, and a compass are displayed. After the upgrade, users can see the following information in the top bar: battery level, missed calls and message notifications, internet connection information, and signal strength. The old keyboard has been changed to a standard keyboard layout for faster and more convenient searching.
Voice search
One of the long-awaited features of the new program interface - the search bar is now available in the new version. It is located on the main screen of the application above the map, so users can find the desired address even faster and do not have to be distracted from viewing the map by entering the Menu. NAVITEL® emphasizes safety and therefore recommends using the search only when the vehicle is parked.
The update also improved voice commands for speed camera and accident warnings, which are now enabled even when the app is minimized. This type of upgrade will allow users to listen to voice signals even when the device display is locked, which saves battery life.
Convenient POI search
Whether you're hungry, need to refuel, find a hotel, store, or hospital, searching for POIs (points of interest) is even better now. All POIs are divided into categories and displayed with user-friendly icons under the search bar. For example, pressing the "Entertainment" icon will display a list with subcategories such as cinemas, theaters, zoos, bars/nightclubs, casinos, bowling, circuses, and parks and gardens.
In the search bar, you will find a new category: Transport, which will help you find stops, metro, railway stations, and ports. The "Parking" category has also been updated and now shows all the nearest parking lots and the distance from them. It will also help you find parking for trucks and the nearest campsites.
A large database of POIs and flexible search will meet all the needs of every user. You can now save points of interest to favorites by pressing the flag icon, where you can select the category of the saved point and its description.
Windshield projection*
Another original improvement that provides users with greater convenience is the latest feature that turns your device into a Head-Up display. HUD technology allows information about the current speed, speed limits on a given road section, the upcoming maneuver, and the estimated arrival time at the final point of the route to be displayed. Everything is displayed on the car's windshield.
