We’ve released a new update for the Navitel DVR Center app, version 5.8.1, bringing a more modern look, improved stability, and most importantly, more convenient device updates.
What's new?
✔️ redesigned and more user-friendly app interface
✔️ automatic background downloading of firmware updates and speed camera database updates
✔️ ability to update the speed camera database separately without updating the firmware
✔️ option to download updates via Wi-Fi only without using mobile data
The speed camera database is also regularly updated in cooperation with SCDB.info, so you’ll always have up-to-date information on the road.

How to enable automatic update downloads?

- Open the "Update Settings" menu in the app
- Enable automatic update downloads
- By enabling "Wi-Fi only", updates will only be downloaded over a wireless network
Once a new update is available, the app will automatically download it and, once completed, will notify you that your NAVITEL device is ready for update.

Thanks to the new feature, updates will be ready even before you get to your car. Simply connect your dash cam to the app via Wi-Fi and update your device quickly and easily. ⚡️
