Q2 2015 maps for Brazil, Mexico, Maldives, and the Philippines are now available for Navitel Navigator users.
The updated maps include 1,892,294 km of road network, 2,381,246 points of interest (POIs), and 264,899 settlements with a detailed street network and address search support for 7,370 of them. On the Maldives map, address search is supported down to the bungalow level.
The visual representation of roads, traffic jams, and routes has been improved. Addresses have been refined, and the indication of mandatory driving directions has been enhanced.
Brazil
The map of Brazil includes 5,564 settlements with a street network and address search support for 5,060 of them. The map contains 2,319,234 points of interest (POIs). The length of the road network is 1,139,802 km.
Mexico
The map of Mexico includes 257,137 settlements with a street network and address search support for 1,964 of them. The map contains 36,291 points of interest (POIs). The length of the road network on the Mexico map is 683,286 km.
Addresses and settlement names in Mexico have been updated.
Maldives
The map of Maldives contains 745 islands.
The total length of the detailed street network of Malé, the capital of Maldives, along with the largest atoll Addu, is 388 km. The map contains 1,557 points of interest (POIs). Additionally, the map includes 45 islands with a total of 58 hotels with address search support down to the bungalow level.
Philippines
The map of the Philippines includes 1,453 settlements with a street network and address search support for 301 of them. The map contains 24,164 points of interest (POIs). The length of the road network on the Philippines map is 66,818 km.
Maps of all countries include address search in residential and industrial areas of settlements, along with a detailed road network down to street level, including traffic structures and information such as mandatory driving directions, intersections, roundabouts, and other important traffic information.
