We are pleased to announce that thanks to the work of the cartographic department, geodesy, and comprehensive analysis of user feedback from the Navitel Navigator application, NAVITEL® is releasing a map update for Q4 2023.
All maps have been supplemented with residential and industrial infrastructure of all cities and settlements with address search functionality. Detailed and clear road networks include all streets, lanes, and roads, considering traffic direction, road junctions, roundabouts, and other information necessary for successful navigation. Also, for all Q4 2023 map releases, speed camera data, road restrictions, and changes in traffic sign locations have been updated.
New map versions include 18,623,626 km of road graph, 13,374,633 Points of Interest (POIs), 1,822,339 cities and settlements, of which 372,832,503 settlements have detailed address search.
In all Q4 2023 maps, address information, POIs, and road networks have been updated across all countries. Significant updates mainly concerned the maps of the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and Vietnam.
CZECH REPUBLIC
Added:
- New section of main road I/43, bypass around the city of Svitavy, between the towns of Hradec nad Svitavou and Lačnov;
- New section of main road I/44, bypass around the city of Bludov;
- New section of main road I/38, southeast bypass around the city of Havlíčkův Brod;
- New section of road II/385, bypass around the town of Čebín.
Approximately 40 new speed cameras have also been added to the map.
GEORGIA
- Sections of highways E-60 and E-70 have been added;
- Updated road network for some sections based on materials from field, geodetic teams.
HUNGARY
- Added new section of main road I/83, between the cities of Győr and Pápa - approximately 36 kilometers;
- Added new section of main road 4623, bypass around the city of Szentkirály;
The map was also supplemented with approximately 1000 new POI types.
POLAND
The southern bypass of the city of Zielona Gora has been added to the map of Poland.
SLOVAKIA
- Added new section of main road I/66, bypass around the city of Brezno;
- The map of Slovakia was supplemented with approximately 1000 new POI types;
Updated address information in all regions of Slovakia.
Each map contains residential and industrial infrastructure of cities and settlements with address search, and a detailed road network considering traffic direction, interchanges, roundabouts, and other relevant navigation information.
