In addition to a built-in Wi-Fi module, GPS informant, and an advanced ADAS driver assistance system, it also offers voice control in Czech – it reacts to voice commands, allowing you to operate individual camera functions without the need for touch. The device also comes with a separate rear Full HD camera to record events behind the vehicle.

The NAVITEL RS990 GPS has a built-in GPS antenna that allows the device to accurately track the car's speed. In addition, the built-in database of speed limits and cameras warns the driver about speed radars and other obstacles on the road. Data from SCDB.info was used, among other sources, to update the speed camera database.
Protection for important videos
The NAVITEL RS990 GPS is equipped with a G-sensor that is activated by a collision or sudden maneuver, and subsequently automatically saves emergency recordings to a separate secure folder. This function is supplemented by a parking mode*, which triggers recording even when the engine is turned off, while also protecting recorded videos from being overwritten. The dash cam supports microSD cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB, providing enough space to store dozens of important videos.
*Parking mode is only available if the dash cam is powered via the NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX device.

The device is easily set up either using the buttons on the dash cam or from your smartphone via the NAVITEL DVR Center application. Is a rear camera included in the package?
Yes. The NAVITEL RS990 GPS is a dual-camera system, and the rear camera is included. It records in Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 px and offers a 120° viewing angle. It connects to the front camera using the supplied 5.5-meter cable.

The built-in GPS antenna allows you to record trip information and monitor vehicle speed. The GPS informant uses a database of speed radars and other road alerts to inform the driver about known risk areas in advance. The timeliness of the alerts depends on the available and updated database.
What ADAS assistance functions does the camera offer?
The ADAS system provides the driver with alerts for selected situations, such as lane departures, blind spot vehicles, movement of the vehicle in front of you, or potential collision danger. These are support functions that do not replace driver attention or responsibility for safe driving.
Does the NAVITEL RS990 GPS support voice control in Czech?
Yes. The camera supports voice control in Czech, so you can operate selected functions using voice commands without having to touch the device. Available commands are listed in the voice control manual.

Yes. Thanks to the built-in 5GHz Wi-Fi, you can connect the camera to your smartphone using the NAVITEL DVR Center application. In the application, you can manage camera settings and download recordings to your phone for viewing or sharing.

The camera supports microSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB. For reliable recording, a U3/V30 speed class card or higher is recommended. The memory card is not listed as part of the standard package contents.
