The NAVITEL R980 4K is a modern and stylish dash cam equipped with a Sony IMX 415 sensor, allowing you to record your journeys in 4K (3840x2160p@30 fps). The Ultra HD resolution makes it possible to monitor traffic signs and license plates, as well as capture finer details like road surface imperfections.
Camera lens
Thanks to the 7-layer glass lens with a built-in IR filter, image quality remains top-tier even in poor or overly bright lighting conditions, while the 140° field of view captures both the road ahead and the roadside.
3" Touchscreen
The 3” high-resolution IPS display is easy to read from any angle. In detection and alert mode, the display shows all necessary information for a comfortable and safe drive. Camera settings (as well as viewing photos and videos) can be managed directly on the touchscreen, and the well-designed menu interface makes this simple and fast.
GPS Informer
The built-in GPS antenna and GPS informer feature allow the driver to receive information about speed cameras and other potentially dangerous areas. You are always warned on the display and with a beep well in advance, so you can slow down and avoid fines. The display also shows your current speed and the distance to the camera or other nearest traffic restrictions. The speed camera database update utilizes data from SCDB.info among other sources.
Supercapacitor
The supercapacitor, which replaces a standard battery, is resistant to extreme temperature changes and shows high reliability. This heat-resistant ionistor also tolerates power outages, eliminating the risk of losing recordings during sudden power cuts.
Wi-Fi Control
The NAVITEL R980 4K can be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi. Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi module, video recordings and images can be viewed in the Navitel DVR Center app for your portable device. The user-friendly interface of the app helps you quickly sync your smartphone with your dash cam and manage its settings remotely. Video files can be saved to your device in this way.
The app is available for iOS and Android.
G-sensor and Parking Mode
The NAVITEL R980 4K is equipped with a G-sensor that protects video recordings taken in an emergency. In the event of a sudden maneuver or physical impact, the system saves the current file to a protected folder on the memory card. The camera supports parking mode*, which automatically captures potential incidents while the car is parked with the ignition off.
*Parking mode works only with a stationary power source via a device that prevents excessive battery discharge — NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX.
Magnetic Mount
The magnetic mount for the NAVITEL R980 4K allows you to easily attach and detach the device in one motion, without having to fiddle with cables. Once connected to power, the camera automatically starts and begins recording.
