Updating the "Navitel Navigator" application on Android devices
Method 1: Manual update using an *.APK file
- Delete "Navitel Navigator" from the device: go to "Settings" → "Applications" → "Navitel Navigator" and press "Uninstall".
- Log in to your Private Zone on the NAVITEL® website.
- Go to the "My Devices (Updates)" section and select "Available Updates" in the "Updates" column. A list of available updates for purchased and registered licenses will open on the screen.
- Select the *.apk file suitable for your device (considering the screen resolution of the device or a file including all resolutions) and save it to your computer.
- Copy the file to the device.
- Run the *.apk file using the file manager on your device and follow all installation steps.
- Maps should be updated after the complete application update.
Method 2: Updating the application via Google Play
The navigation device must be connected to the Internet (via GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi, or any other method). Install the updated version of the program from Google Play. It is recommended to use a Wi-Fi connection due to the size of the update file.
- Launch the "Navitel Navigator" program on your device.
- Go to "Menu" → "My Navitel" → "Updates" and select "Navitel Navigator".
- More detailed information about the application from the provider will be displayed on the screen. Press "Update".
- You will be redirected to Google Play, where you will be prompted to update the application. Update the application.
- Maps will be updated after the program update is complete.
