Glossary

Map activation key — a file used to register a map. The file has the *.ntk extension and can be found in the registered map folder.


Software activation key — this is a text file that the user receives during registration: NaviTel Activation Key.txt — version for PDA and NaviTelAuto Activation Key.txt — version for PND.


Atlas — a folder with navigation maps created by the user (the user can rename it).


Indexing (Reindexing) — the process of unifying maps for automatic route planning and for adding new information.


License key — a set of symbols used to obtain the full version of an application or map. The license key for the application contains 5 symbols in the 1st block, the license key for maps contains seven symbols here.


Registration — during this process, you will receive a complete version of the software or map. During this process, an activation key for the software and map is created.


PND ID (Flash card ID) — a set of characters and (or) numbers that appear after launching the unregistered version of Navitel Navigator.


PDA ID (Device ID) — a set of characters and (or) numbers that appear after launching the unregistered version of Navitel Navigator.


Tracks — a set of points stored while driving. Each point has its coordinates and time. It is a record of the journey, created automatically and cannot be edited.
