The NAVITEL R980 4K is a modern and stylish dashcam equipped with a Sony IMX 415 sensor, enabling it to record your journeys in 4K (3840x2160p@30 fps). The Ultra HD resolution allows you to observe traffic signs, license plates, as well as capture smaller details like road surface imperfections.
Camera Lens
Thanks to the 7-layer glass lens with a built-in IR filter, recording quality remains top-notch even in poor or excessively bright light conditions, while the 140° field of view captures both the traffic area and the roadside.
3" Touch Screen Display
The 3" high-resolution IPS display is easy to read from any angle. In detection and alert mode, the display shows all the necessary information for a comfortable and safe drive. Camera settings (as well as viewing photos and videos) can be adjusted directly on the touch screen, and the well-thought-out user interface makes it extremely simple and fast.
GPS Informer
The built-in GPS antenna and GPS informer function allow the driver to receive information about speed cameras and other potentially dangerous locations. It will always alert you on the display and with a beep well in advance, so you can slow down and avoid fines. The display will also show your current speed and distance to the camera and other nearest traffic restrictions.
Supercapacitor
The supercapacitor, which replaces the conventional battery, is resistant to extreme temperature changes and exhibits high reliability. The thermally resistant ionistor also tolerates power outages, eliminating the risk of losing recordings during sudden power failures.
Wi-Fi Control
The NAVITEL R980 4K can be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi. Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi module, video recordings and images can be viewed in the Navitel DVR Center application for your portable device. The application's user-friendly interface helps quickly synchronize your smartphone with your dashcam and manage its settings remotely. Video files can be quickly saved to your device this way.
The application is available for iOS and Android.
G-sensor and Parking Mode
The NAVITEL R980 4K is equipped with a G-sensor that protects video recordings taken in an emergency. In case of a sudden maneuver or physical impact, the system saves the current file to a protected folder on the memory card. The camera supports parking mode*, which automatically captures possible incidents when the car is parked with the ignition off.
*Parking mode only works with a stationary power supply via a device that eliminates excessive battery discharge — NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX.
Magnetic Mount
The magnetic mount for the NAVITEL R980 4K allows you to easily attach and detach the device with one movement, without having to manipulate cables. When connected to the power supply, the camera automatically starts and begins recording.
Navitel DVR Player
The camera with a built-in GPS module in the NAVITEL R980 4K automatically saves the route along with the video. After downloading and installing the Navitel DVR Player program on your computer, the user can not only view and edit captured video files but also display the movement route on a map.
