Q1 2019 Europe maps are now available to Navitel Navigator users.
Q1 2019 map update is available for the following 44 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and Vatican City.
Austria
The map of Austria contains 26,738 cities and towns, of which 10,783 include address search. The map contains 54,243 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 216,095 km.
The road network in Vienna and Linz has been revised and updated.
Bulgaria
The map of Bulgaria contains 5,518 cities and towns, of which 608 include address search. The map contains 31,500 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 93,746 km.
The following have been added to the Q1 2019 map of Bulgaria:
- a new German residential area with detailed address database (in Sofia);
- a new Sandanski-Kresna highway.
In Q1 2019, detailed maps with address search were added for the following cities and towns: Dobrich, Gabrovo, Obzor, Razgrad, Sandanski, Stara Zagora and Veliko Tarnavo.
Bosnia and Herzegovina
The map of Bosnia and Herzegovina contains 6,642 cities and towns, of which 16 include address search. The map contains 3,686 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 133,621 km.
A new section of the highway connecting Prnjavor and Johovac has been added.
Croatia
The map of Croatia contains 6,794 cities and towns, of which 1,780 include address search. The map contains 30,435 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 77,608 km.
A new bridge between the city of Trogir and the island of Čiovo has been added.
Czech Republic
The map of the Czech Republic contains 20,535 cities and towns, of which 6,259 include address search. The address search includes 3,792,184 unique addresses. The map contains 125,804 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 161,222 km.
The following have been added to the Q1 2019 map of the Czech Republic:
- a section of the Němčice bypass;
- a section of the Kosatka bypass.
Hungary
The map of Hungary contains 3,821 cities and towns, of which 3,212 include address search. The map contains 35,245 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 108,812 km.
The following have been added to the Q1 2019 map of Hungary:
- a new bypass near Algyő and Hajdusamson;
- a section of the M25 highway (Eger-Andornaktálya);
- a section of the M35 highway (Berettyóújfalu-Debrecen).
Finland
The map of Finland contains 13,816 cities and towns, of which 9,511 include address search. The map contains 15,358 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 479,970 km.
In Q1 2019, detailed maps with address search were added for the following cities and towns: Iisalmi, Kuusamo, Nurmes, Ylivieska.
Signposts indicating turns have been added to the E8, E18, E75, E63, 6, 13, 14, 9, 79, Keha I, Keha III, Lahdenväylä, Porvoonväylä, Turunväylä motorways. Thanks to reports from our users, the road graph has been updated in Etelä-Karjala, Kainuu, Kymenlaakso, Lappi and Pohjois-Karjala regions.
France
Due to the extensive work of the Cartography and Geodesy Department and a thorough analysis of reports from Navitel Navigator users, NAVITEL® issues a major update of France map.
The map of France contains 68,292 cities and towns, of which 35,766 include address search. The address search includes 17,822,566 unique addresses. The map contains 1,202,222 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 1,253,630 km.
The address database has been completely updated for the entire territory of France. Buildings are displayed on the map for easier navigation. The road network of Paris and other metropolitan areas has been revised and updated according to the latest information from the Federal Address Base. The POI database with service information has been accordingly updated.
The detailed road network and POI database have been revised and added for the following regions: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Brittany, Burgundy-Franche-Comté, Centre-Val de Loire, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, Corsica, New Aquitaine, Normandy, Occitania, Pays de la Loire, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Germany
The map of Germany contains 97,048 cities and towns, of which 88,798 include address search. The map contains 1,647,560 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 1,100,835 km.
The road network in the eastern part of Germany has been updated.
Italy
The map of Italy contains 69,233 cities and towns, of which 39,840 include address search. The address search includes 31,403,699 unique addresses. The map contains 67,972 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 780,700 km.
The road graph has been updated based on our users' reports and comments.
Moldova
The map of Moldova contains 1,646 cities and towns, of which 187 include address search. The map contains 25,321 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 45,713 km.
The following have been added to the Q1 2019 map of Moldova:
- a border crossing between Romania (Fălciu) and Moldova (Prut);
- a border crossing between Ukraine (Criva) and Moldova (Mamaliga);
- revised house numbering in Chișinău;
- gas station POIs in Leuseni and Nemţeni.
Montenegro
The map of Montenegro contains 785 cities and towns, of which 56 include address search. The map contains 4,205 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 8,785 km.
Netherlands
The map of the Netherlands contains 6,291 cities and towns, of which 5,994 include address search. The map contains 21,147 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 154,278 km.
New 3D objects have been added to the map of Amsterdam: Amsterdam Arena, Hermitage Amsterdam, Oude Kerk, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.
Norway
The map of Norway contains 18,811 cities and towns, of which 1,438 include address search. The map contains 6,238 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 222,870 km.
All current information on speed cameras and speed restrictions has been added to the following cities: Bergen, Elverum, Haugesund, Stavanger and Trondheim. The names of tunnels and bridges in these areas have been added to the latest map.
Poland
The updated map of Poland has a road graph of 730,372 km, 267,870 POIs, 95,313 settlements, of which 55,063 are equipped with a detailed address search network. The address search includes 14,486,898 unique addresses.
Compared to the previous Q3 2018 map release, the road length has been significantly increased by over 4,500 kilometers. The address database of all cities and towns has been revised. The POI database has been updated.
Portugal
The map of Portugal contains 15,604 cities and towns, of which 2,824 include address search. The map contains 6,941 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 210,948 km.
The road network of Portugal has been updated.
Romania
The map of Romania contains 14,483 cities and towns, of which 272 include address search. The map contains 39,536 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 134,685 km.
The road network in Bucharest and the entire territory of Romania has been updated. The following have been added to the Q1 2019 map of Romania:
- sections of the A3 motorway (Nadaselu-Gilau) and (Iernut-Ungheni Aeroport);
- a section of the A3 motorway (Bucharest Ring Road - Bucharest-Harghita);
- a section of the A10 motorway (Turda-Aiud).
Serbia
The map of Serbia contains 16,576 cities and towns, of which 800 include address search. The map contains 23,279 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 59,162 km.
A new section of the A1 motorway has been added.
Spain
The map of Spain contains 43,701 cities and towns, of which 23,820 include address search. The map contains 724,132 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 779,709 km.
The road network of Spain has been updated.
Sweden
The map of Sweden contains 27,063 cities and towns, of which 3,398 include address search. The map contains 13,118 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 366,714 km.
All information on speed cameras and speed limits has also been included for the following motorways:
E4, 13-Sjöbovägen, 25, 31, 32, 50, 52, 56-Bergslagsvägen, 70, 100, 127- Glömsjö, 155, 255, 269, Älvbrovägen, Riksvägen, Stockholmsvägen, Tågarpsvägen, Ysanevägen (Solvesborg).
Ukraine
The map of Ukraine contains 30,013 cities and towns, of which 3,529 include address search. The map contains 127,483 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 1,140,136 km.
The road network of Ukraine was updated in Q3 2018. The following has been added to the map:
- change in traffic direction in Kopylova and Vasilkovskaya streets (Kyiv);
- turn of the Shulyavsky crossover according to the official plan of the Kyiv City State Administration;
- update of the roundabout in Vyshhorod (P02 motorway);
- 862 streets in Kyiv, Kherson, Lviv and Sumy regions have been renamed.
The new version includes 11 new settlements that are available for house-level search: Berezne, Dubrovytsia, Horodenka, Lebedyn, Novoiavorivsk, Ripky, Skhidnytsia, Tavriysk, Tlumach, Tysmenytsia, Vynnyky.
The road network has been updated in 57 cities and towns in Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Lviv and Poltava regions.
Each map includes residential and industrial infrastructure of cities and towns with address search and detailed road networks with traffic directions, interchanges, roundabouts, and other relevant navigation information.
