Q3 2016 Europe maps are now available for Navitel Navigator users.

The updated Q3 2016 maps include the following 44 European countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City.

The updated maps contain 9,850,564 km of road network, 4,891,673 points of interest (POIs) and 708,327 settlements, of which 322,295 include detailed street network and support address search.

Czech Republic

The map of the Czech Republic contains 20,535 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 6,259 of them. The points of interest (POI) database has been updated and now includes 110,613 POIs. The total length of the road network is 160,414 km.

The road network has been completely updated in the following cities: Česká Lípa, Jablonec nad Nisou, Liberec, Mladá Boleslav, Turnov, Pardubice.

A new bypass around the village of Příseka has been added.

The Q3 2016 update also brings a new type of point of interest (POI) — electric car charging stations — and a new brand for the MOL chain.

Croatia

The map of Croatia contains 6,661 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 1,668 of them. The address database includes 259,402 unique addresses. The map now contains 24,390 points of interest (POIs). The total length of the road network is 77,270 km.

All main roads have been updated, including gas stations and recreational facilities along these routes. The extensive database includes all intersections and speed limits.

The road network on Croatian islands has been updated.

New brands have been added for selected chains (e.g. Tesla).

France

The map of France contains 68,242 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 35,766 of them. The address database includes 55,270,826 unique addresses. The map now contains 1,193,571 points of interest (POIs). The total length of the road network is 1,239,930 km.

The road network has been updated in the following areas: Gard (Languedoc-Roussillon), Gers (Midi-Pyrénées), Hautes-Pyrénées (Midi-Pyrénées), Landes (Aquitaine), Pyrénées-Atlantiques (Aquitaine).

15 new 3D objects in Paris have been added to the updated Q3 2016 map: Paris Opera, Hôtel des Invalides, Louvre, Pont Alexandre III, Musée d’Orsay, Musée Rodin, Notre-Dame de Paris, Panthéon, Luxor Obelisk (Place de la Concorde), Sacré-Cœur, Arc de Triomphe, La Tour Eiffel, Tour Montparnasse, Grand Palais, Place Vendome.

New brands have been added for selected chains (e.g. Tesla).

Hungary

The map of Hungary contains 3,969 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 3,210 of them. The points of interest (POI) database has been updated and now includes 32,675 POIs. The total length of the road network is 108,812 km.

A new bypass around the village of Tiszabezdéd has been added.

The road network has been updated and the following new road sections have been added:

• road 43 near the village of Györ;
• road 2205 near the village of Ráróspuszta.

Exit 46 from the M43 motorway has also been updated.

Germany

The map of Germany contains 97,048 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 88,797 of them. The address database includes 39,435,511 unique addresses. The map now contains 1,647,537 points of interest (POIs). The total length of the road network is 1,100,141 km.

The Speedcam database has been updated.

Poland

The map of Poland contains 95,313 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 53,671 of them. The points of interest (POI) database has been updated and now includes 262,484 POIs. The total length of the road network is 710,373 km.

The road network has been updated and the following new road sections have been added:

• A4 between the cities of Rzeszów and Jarosław;
• Wschodnia Obwodnica Wrocławia bypass in Wrocław;
• road 19 (Aleja Solidarności) and 809 (Bohaterów Września) in the city of Lublin.

The following new brands for chains have been added: Black Red White, Komputronik.

Austria

The map of Austria contains 25,905 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 10,597 of them. The points of interest (POI) database has been updated and now includes 58,257 POIs. The total length of the road network is 214,000 km.

The road network in the western part of the country has been completely updated, including all intersections and the SPEEDCAM database.

The following roads have been added:

• L197 near the village of Stuben;
• road between B100 and L37 near the village of Töplitsch;
• L37 near the village of Lansach.

The points of interest (POI) database has been significantly updated.

New brands for chains have been added: Bank Austria, BAWAG PSK, BKS Bank, ERSTE Bank, Oberbank, Raiffeisen BANK, Sparkasse, Volksbank, A1, Avanti, Diskont, Eni, Genol, IQ, Tank Roth, Tumöl, Adeg, Bauhaus, BIPA, C&A, Deichmann, dm, Hervis, Interspar, KiK, Kika, Merkur, Möbelix, Mpreis, Nah & Frisch, New Yorker, NKD, Norma, OBI, PAGRO DISKONT, Penny, Spar, Unimarkt, Vögele, Zielpunkt.

Slovenia

The map of Slovenia contains 6,020 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 5,975 of them. The address database includes 531,409 unique addresses. The map now contains 6,733 points of interest (POIs). The total length of the road network is 48,730 km.

The following have been added to the Q3 2016 Slovenia map:

• a new bypass around the settlements of Gornji Log and Črnomelj;
• a new road connecting the settlements of Mala Bučna and Velika Bučna;
• new points of interest (POIs) and a new brand for the Tesla chain.

Spain

The map of Spain contains 43,701 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 23,820 of them. The address database includes 10,130,774 unique addresses. The map now contains 724,123 points of interest (POIs). The total length of the road network is 779,103 km.

The road network in Barcelona has been updated.

New brands for chains have been added: Media Markt, Tesla.

Switzerland

The map of Switzerland contains 8,599 settlements and provides street network and address search support for 4,191 of them. The address database includes 5,872,521 unique addresses. The map now contains 72,750 points of interest (POIs). The total length of the road network is 122,945 km.

The Speedcam database has been updated.

New brands have been added for selected chains (e.g. Tesla).

The maps of all these countries include residential and industrial infrastructure of cities and towns, address information, detailed road network including all streets and roads with regard to traffic situation, multi-level interchanges, roundabouts and other important information.
