NAVITEL is committed to continuously improving the quality and expanding the functionality of its devices and regularly releases updates for digital video recorders. The latest update concerned 2 car camera models: NAVITEL R285 2K and NAVITEL R87 GPS.

User feedback showed that NAVITEL R285 2K customers lacked the ability to set the length of the video recording loop. After the device update, the user will be able to choose a loop recording duration of 1, 3, or 5 minutes.

For the R87 GPS dash cam, corrections were made to improve operational stability without connection to a power source, such as recording an emergency file in parking mode. Operation with NAVITEL SMART BOX in parking mode has been optimized. A battery charge and status indicator has also been added. The database of road cameras and alert devices has been updated, including current information on the location of traffic control systems, road signs, and restrictions.
