We are delighted to announce that the popular model NAVITEL RS990 GPS now comes with voice control in Czech. Thanks to this feature, important camera controls can be managed by voice – without having to touch the device or interrupt driving.
What does voice control enable?
The voice control function brings greater comfort and safety while driving. The camera responds to selected voice commands in Czech, specifically:
- "Display front camera,"
- "Display rear camera,"
- "Turn on Wi-Fi,"
- "Take a photo,"
- "Turn on screen,"
- "Turn off recording,"
- "Turn off Wi-Fi,"
- "Turn on recording,"
- "Lock video,"
- "Turn off screen."
Controlling the camera is therefore intuitive and completely hands-free.
When is the feature available?
- NAVITEL RS990 GPS cameras purchased from July 24, 2025 (inclusive) – whether through our e-shop or authorized dealers – already have voice control active from the factory.
- Cameras purchased before this date (or by July 23, 2025 at the latest) do not yet include voice control. However, this feature can be activated subsequently.
How to get voice control retrospectively?
If you purchased a NAVITEL RS990 GPS camera earlier and want to use the new voice control feature, simply contact us via email.
The process is simple:
- Send an email to podpora@navitel.cz
- In the subject line of the message, state: "Voice control activation"
Our technical support will then provide you with the necessary information and instructions for activating voice control.
