Firmware update and new features for cameras with GPS function

Dear friends, we are pleased to announce that a software update for cameras with GPS* is now available on the official NAVITEL® website.

Thanks to the new firmware version, working with photos and video files has become even easier. You will no longer need additional devices such as a memory card reader — just connect the camera to your PC with a USB cable, select "Mass Storage" mode, and work with the files directly*.

The new firmware version includes the most up-to-date** data on all types of monitoring cameras, potentially dangerous places, service points, etc. Thanks to the work of NAVITEL® specialists, who regularly update the database of traffic warnings, our users can be sure that they will always have the latest information.

You can download the new firmware for DVRs on the website in the Update your camera section.

For owners of cameras with a Wi-Fi module, the firmware update is also available wirelessly via the Navitel DVR Center application. To update your device, download the Navitel DVR Center application, launch it, connect the camera to your smartphone via Wi-Fi, and click "Update."

Navitel DVR Player — a program for PC*** provides users with advanced functions for working with video files from the dashcam. With the program, you can view videos recorded by your camera on the computer screen, export tracks, cut parts of the recording, and much more.

* For cameras with a GPS module: R300 GPS, R700 GPS DUAL, R1000 GPS, R1050 GPS.

** The database is current as of April 29, 2020. For proper operation of the camera with GPS, we recommend regularly updating your device's software.
