NAVITEL has released an update to its camera and warning database for GPS-enabled DVRs.
The new firmware adds 4,183 objects to the camera and warning database, which includes information on speed cameras, road restrictions, traffic sign locations, etc.
The following items have been added to the speed camera and warning database:
- 1,100 speed cameras (the total base now includes 608,478 units);
- 1,447 control zones (849,693 units in total);
- 1,636 alerts for potentially dangerous locations (907,631 in total).
The database update is available for the following NAVITEL DVRs:
- MR450 GPS
- R3
- R5
- R300 GPS
- R500 GPS
- R600 GPS
- R700 GPS
- R9
- R9 DUAL
- R980 4K
- R10
- R1000
- R1050
- RC3 PRO
For the new firmware version to work correctly, you must update the NAVITEL DVR Center app to version 3.1.26 or higher.

The updated firmware is already available for download on navitel.cz in the "Update your dashcam" section or via the mobile application Navitel DVR Center for Android and iOS.
